During pandemic in 2020, the designer Andrea Adamo gave birth to an extremely sensual knitwear brand which find its origins in a genderless nude aesthetic. AndreAdamo collections are a continuos experiment on materials and a-typical silhouettes with a skin tone hues for a real second skin effect.
Born in Crotone (Italy) in 1984, after completing his studies, Andrea Adamo decided to frequent the Fine Art Academy in Bologna. After that he starts an intensive journey in the most famous maison such as Les Copain, under Antonio Marras direction, and Elisabetta Franchi. When he arrives at Roberto Cavalli he worked expecially on evening dresses becoming celebrities and special projects manager at Dolce & Gabbana. At first it seems that his role in evening gowns design was his destiny.
Adrea Andamo has somenthing different in his mind though, a brand new revolutionary project, far from what he did in the last years. The concept behind Adrea Adamo's clothing was clear since the beginning: Few stylistic elements but an extraordinary lucidity which permitted him to build an original and well recognizable image sculpted in everybody's memory from the first collection. The use of knit as unique element is perfect for summer using a thin cotton and for winter using heavier yarns. Other stylistic element and signature is the non-color which express the aesthetyc of nude. Adamo underline the concept of second skin with the use of palettes that replicate the skin tones from white to beige and brown. This concept is reinforced by the name of the brand – Adam – the symbol of the unshamed naked man. Atypical silouhettes are characterized by layering and curvy lines. This result of continuity and clean shape is possible thanks to the seamless technique.
AndreaAdamo success and quick raise is supported by the most influent celebrities and models in the world, a community that Andrea built before the project: from Kendall Jenner and Cindy Crowford to Chiara Ferragni and Vittoria Ceretti.
